Flu this year

man - this is denial and avoidance ------------------ many wondering why the flu is bad this year eh?


Lets go no further here - the government this year recommended giving flu shots months later than normal because in their wisdom - the most flu cases came later in the year and they thought the impact of flu shots was better if given a bit later.


Using the stats - might look ok on paper --------- but, practically - what IMO has happened is that by this decision to delay - what they have done is let earlier cases get away and spread through the community - ie. more people early with flu = and it just spreads from there

IMO - grade one mistake ---------

but, they seek reasons here, they seek reasons there -------------- but, not where the obvious answer is ---------- vaccinating too late in the year
