BUT - seems it will take a sea change in thinking to change the minds of health authorities the world over.
Problem seems to be exclusively mindset. Vaccines are clearly the best option over medicines where the micro-organism is stable (ie litle or no mutation). But influenza seriously mutates and so rapidly that vaccines need tweaking (or more) on a six monthly basis (each hemisphere, annually).
Hopefully the mindset will adapt soon.
