Hi @stockrock, I appreciate your question but Evergrande, in my mind, will not have any affect on Fluence, except affect market sentiment.

In fact, the emphasis on "common prosperity" by the central government bodes well for FLC because the regulatory winds will remain in favour of narrowing the rural urban, the poor-rich divide. What's more, rural waste water treatment in the municipal and rural areas are under-developed. It makes modern China look very backward if nothing is not done to develop it.

China is very concerned with social order and social cohesion. They believe in socialism with capitalistic characteristics, not the free wheeling capitalism renowned in the USA. What's more, they cannot afford to have China become increasingly like the USA, a kleptocracy. A kleptocracy is where the rich and powerful in government rule for the benefit of the rich and powerful elite. If there is even a whiff of China turning into a kleptocracy, there would be an internal revolt from the masses. This is why Xi Jin Ping (XJP) had to come down hard against corrupt officials in the mid 2000's, and maybe Jack Ma of Alibaba.

I personally believe XJP had to clip the wings of property magnates, in addition to paring down runaway property prices. High property prices increase the social divide in society. Personally, I agree with XJP's policies as I come from the land of the crazy rich Asians where the rich poor divide is getting ridiculous. But that's just IMO.
