There were a few news reports from the Zhejiang province about the 5 year effort so far, on implementing the modernisation of the rural domestic sewage treatment.

Sharing the “Hangzhou experience” and showcasing the future of rural living to the rest of China from Zhejiang, which is one of the more wealthier provinces in China, as a leading example for the rest to follow. In the 2 articles, MABR was the only technology mentioned. Even though there were other systems that were used in the Hangzhou project, being the only one mentioned highlights the prominence of MABR.

This resonates with Richard Irving’s repeated mantra that our MABR is the system that is able to produce the highest standard of effluent with the lowest capital and running cost to achieve that.
