Sharing the “Hangzhou experience” and showcasing the future of rural living to the rest of China from Zhejiang, which is one of the more wealthier provinces in China, as a leading example for the rest to follow. In the 2 articles, MABR was the only technology mentioned. Even though there were other systems that were used in the Hangzhou project, being the only one mentioned highlights the prominence of MABR.

This resonates with Richard Irving’s repeated mantra that our MABR is the system that is able to produce the highest standard of effluent with the lowest capital and running cost to achieve that.

I'm a bit busy at the moment, but am currently compiling all the Hangzhou related articles about Fluence MABR sites, as at the moment Hangzhou towns have been releasing new rural revitalization stories every 2 days or so as you have posted above. I keep putting it off as it's a lot of work and keeps giving me a headache fitting all the pieces of the puzzle together. It is a positive story though.

In the meantime, some interesting matchmaking meetings are happening in Shenzhen with the Belt & Road Environmental Technology Exchange & Transfer Centre. These guys are tied in with all the big players, backed by the Chinese Ministry of Environment.

Here, again, out of 17 Israeli environmental technologies assessed, Fluence MABR was 1 of only 5 selected for further promotion to the Belt & Road Centre partners.

Here it sounds like the weight of installations in China is really starting to get Fluence MABR noticed.
Interesting comparison to BioGill, which is an Australian wastewater treatment company I really liked a few years ago, but maybe has more of a niche in food industry effluent like breweries. The Chinese said here that initially BioGill didn't meet Chinese effluent standards and the operating costs were quite high.

Getting partners in this area is important for Fluence. Shenzhen = Guangdong = Pearl River Delta. There is a lot of money in this region and they like advanced technologies. Along with the talk that Dr Wendy Tu gave at the Shenzhen University (which is also linked to this Belt & Road Technology Centre) and there seems to be indications of business being done for Fluence in this important region.
