There is definitely interest in acquisitions in the water space. As Fluence grows they will certainly be on some radars of global sustainable infrastructure funds.
Aqwise is Eytan Levy & Ronen Shechter's first wastewater treatment company founded in 2000. They sold it initially in 2007 before founding Emefcy. So could be referred to as the older sister of Fluence MABR.
It was just acquired by GES, which is the environmental arm of Israeli TASE listed Generation Capital (no relation to previous Fluence finance partner Generate Capital). Generation Capital's whole fund had about US $360 million in assets in Sept 2020.
