Oh another thing. The significance is not lost to the Chinese. When Trump makes such a “command” to companies to pull out of China, and FLC says “We are investing assembly plants in the provinces”, it speaks volumes to the Chinese. One says we don’t want to be friends. The other says we want to be even better friends.

Trump is startlingly culturally illiterate. He left a void to fill.

Watch out for what FLC and Israel does to capitalise on the opportunity. We will see an acceleration of more G to G “official” visits between Israel and China at state, provincial levels, corporate levels, greater collaboration and so forth. Any CEO worth his pay would step up investment into China if you want to engage long term. .

Having followed FLC for two years, I am increasingly aware how astute they are in diplomacy. That why Ron was involved in the photo ops. IC was secured in the first place by harnessing the Israel state machinery. Being Israeli was how they were literally invited to set up plant in China with favourable terms. My point , Trump is really doing FLC a favour.
