dlligent i guess i just come from the opinion that when the government, any government, does something the last thing they are concerned with is the benefit to the poeple. sure this might be a factor in making their decision. but the initial concerns are how much will it cost, how much money can they make and can they pass all the costs onto the poeple. if so then it could be a goer.
the thing with medical marijuana etc is mainly imo they aren't too concerned with the impacts it may have on peoples health (mind you many are terminal!) but how they are going to profit from it and how can they close loopholes so they maximise the profits. it will eventually happen (medical marijuana) but first they need to close the loopholes so they maintain all the profit.
