    Not that I'm a long suffering holder, but IMO if there was ever a burning platform to trigger such an event, here it is:

    "Times are rough for CARBO Ceramics right now. Its primary goal is to stop the bleeding by reducing costs and preserving cash so it can make it through these tough times and position itself for the next upcycle. That said, things could get even harder, and that next upcycle could be far away, which makes this stock a real lottery ticket right now."

    If they could overlook the 'preserving cash' imperative (possibly a big ask at present), I would think that buying LWP outright (or at least securing an exclusive US licence) would position Carbo very nicely for all up/downcycles and they certainly wouldn't need to wait for the next upcycle to start turning their fortunes around. It would be the best lottery ticket in town... after LWP, that is!
