I'm pleased that pos started this thread. I've often said that doom and gloomers, can get away with their cheap forecasts because if they are wrong and the market rises, - as has now happened here, - their dismal outlook is forgotten in the euphoria of making money.

On the other hand those of us who have been consistently positive, really stick our necks out because if we're wrong, they will never let us forget it.

Being negative is one thing, but derision is something else again. I have not forgotten them and a few others.

And just to rub it in, in one exchange last year, in answer to derision of my long position, I said; "I'm the one with the Bentley.." which like was a red rag to a bull.

Well, I've added a new Ducati Multistrada to the fleet now, a red one, so take that...
