Yep, it is an interesting situation and given the upsize potential of Tanzania it is hard to say what KEY intend to make as a priority going forward. IMO....I am not sure Key will be really pushing ahead with the permits in Italy "in the short term" given the recent Gas discovery at Tanzania. Whilst Italy has great exploration opportunities, ( SS, thanks for your great research work ), I have a feeling the management team might plan to focus on Tanzania for the rest of 2008.

I have a feeling KEY are waiting to see the results from Tanzania before they commit to anything else, remember the announcement the other day mentioned they had been working on the JV with PCL for a long time ( ie: long before they made the Gas discovery ).

Anyway, we will know very shortly when their quarterly report comes out.
