mrriesq, I have just become a member of Velocity. One of the reasons I joined is because my family of four are going to Ireland in a few months time and we should get about 20000 points. I usually don't bother with fly-buys anymore because after years of pulling out my card, I still didn't have enough for even a Coles gift voucher. I wish they would stop asking me if I have one to be honest.

However, my main reason for joining Velocity is the fact that you can transfer your Commonwealth Visa rewards points to your Velocity account 2:1. As I use my Visacard for just about anything, and you get 1 point for every dollar spent, the points should soon stack up for another decent holiday.

Perhaps they have some sort of reciprocal arrangement with the CBA already.
