Common sense would tell you that if a person with coronavirus was sitting next to you on a plane for a few hours, you would most likely catch the virus. This has already been proven in a recent study.
Denial is not the solution. Rapid COVID testing before check-in and before boarding the plane is the only solution until we have a vaccine. A few airports overseas are already trialling such systems. Australia needs to do the same if we want to avoid a third wave.
Nevertheless, sentiment appears to be changing with COVID numbers falling in Vic and borders starting to reopen. Will go along for the ride but until we have a vaccine that works, there will always be the risk of a third wave and for the share price to start falling again.
