Flying under radar up 50%

Anyone else watching / noticing?… in the last few days Lincoln has moved off the bottom around 4.2cps and currently trading at 6.1cps… Not much to cheer about on the ASX in recent months but perhaps Lincoln can provide some much needed Christmas cheer. Just to recap - 268M shares on issue - Market cap = $14M. Some highlights from the recent Annual Report:

During 2013 and 2014 and the opening months of 2014-15, Lincoln Minerals has continued to progress its potential South Australian graphite mining opportunities and, furthermore,the Company has applied to become a foundation shareholder in an international graphite trading exchange based in Qingdao, China.

The Company has made substantial progress on exploration and development of its whollyowned high grade flake graphite resources on SA’s Eyre Peninsula to a point where project progress has now delivered the near-term prospect of first production in a year’s time. Mineral claims have been pegged and registered and the application for a Mining Lease is imminent. This is in what is one of the world’s major graphite provinces.

Lincoln’s JORC Mineral Resource at Kookaburra Gully, just 35 km north of Port Lincoln, totals 2.2 million tonnes at 15.1% total graphitic carbon and that grade rates it within the Top 10 graphite deposits in the world. Metallurgical studies have shown that a high-grade 93%-98% total graphitic carbon flake graphite concentrate can be extracted with 80%-95% recovery from a simple 4-stage flotation process and this concentrate can be easily upgraded to 99.9% carbon by a simple leaching process.
