It's amazing how many people don't understand the difference between franking credits and franking credit refunds... I think Labor scared more people than needed.
whilst I do agree with the policy, it is slightly defensible that these people have generally paid a lot of tax over the years and now are self funded rather than living off the public purse pension... But yeah ... A diet!
