As we are only 4 weeks away from end of this half, I wanted to kick off a discussion around what the Interim Divvie is going to be.
I believe that we are looking at AUD$1.25 a share. My calculations are shown below. Happy to hear agreement or alternate thoughts...

FMG'All in' cost: USD$45 a tonne (incl. C1 costs, interest, depreciation)
Net Profit: USD$5.40 BILLION
AUD/USDExchange Rate: $0.73c
AUD Half-year Interim Profit: AUD$7.40 Billion
AUDTax Paid (@30%): AUD$2.22 Billion
NetProfit available (for Interim Dividend distribution): AUD$5.18 Billion
InterimDividend @ 75% payout ratio (i.e 75% of $5.18 Billion) = AUD$3.89 Billion … or$1.25 a share
