A few posters on here presume that the share price drop next Monday, with FMG going ex-dividend, will lead to a larger sell-off that the dividend ($1.47) itself.
This is not always the case. I actually think this is a myth perpetuated by those who seek to exploit gaps in the knowledge of newer traders.
Often, the share price will dip by the approximate dividend amount. But rarely does it lead to a mass exodus. FMG's merits speak for themselves so I won't labour the point.
