It would also be nice to understand (maybe I should already as a shareholder!) how they retain their cash holdings (AUD or USD) and whether they use hedging and to what extent.
The recent dividend of 76c was announced 19/02 with the FX rate at around 67c, on payment earlier this week it was hovering just over 60c
In a 'best case scenario' world they have potentially retained/saved circa 8c (AUD) of dividends per share just due to rate fluctuations. I'm sure it is not that linear - but if there were any saving at this stage it could allow a bumping up of the end-of-year dividend.
