page 52 of todays financial review says FMG could be a possible target for Teck Cominco if their Inco bid fails, they said they could be looking for an iron ore acquisition and FMG is mentioned along with a few other players but mentions they would like a decent project that is not yet operating ,fmg would fit that criteria,all i can say is that i believe one day FMG will be taken out by one of the big boys.
