I think, vbenz, the Dow and other markets are significantly LOWER than they were prior to DT's "Liberation" day lecture on how he reclons tariff work.....of course,there are those pesky economists and captains of industry who beg to differ with him.....we'll see what has happened in a year or two.....or he may continue to back down.
The plunging conniption-inducing share market dives have exceeded the occasional sharp recoveries.....sometimes, it would appear that his decision making on policies is determined by how the sharemarkets are reacting.....or is that being too cynical?
I agree, it's certainly a roller-coaster ride at the moment......only relevant if you're a trader....I prefer to invest in businesses, such as Fortescue, for the long term.....it's a bit more relaxing, and arguably more lucrative over the decades....I guess that is determined by your skill levels!
