Who is WesTig?
Well, if you read the "Power" FMG thread you will see that he has very generously shared some of his background. Here is what I have gleaned about Wes.
He is a rugby league oficionado, a muso, a salt of the earth working class man, a person who cares about his fellows (he played gigs in prisons...a regular Johnny Cash), he is tough and does not back down in the face of mean spirited small minded HC posters, but never lowers himself to their level, he is a quick witted raconteur, quick with a joke and a laugh, he is an optimist and a true believer in the ingenuity of his fellowman .
In other words, Wes is a true old school Aussie - someone you would what to share a beer with, someone you would want in your rugby team, someone you would want by your side when going over the trenches.
In contrast with many of the other HC threads, which are often filled with low quality drivel and vitriol, I enjoy reading the regular contributions from Wes (and Tony)...they are always informative, enlightening and amusing.
Keep up the good fight WesTiger.
