Imo, flat spots like this is probably due to lack of institutional investors trying to boost their positions through constant purchases of small parcels that support sp.
Could be due to lack of diversification for some institutions to get involved?
I stick to my view that diversification into old world commodities is fundamentally buying risk.
And would like to see them invest a few hundred milllion in new world start ups ( high growth rates in building stage) eg CSIRO new Solar Tech (future baseline power generation), and CSIRO new Hydrogen Membrane Tech.
Couple of hundred million each start up securing worldwide licenses from CSIRO.
Growths would be extrordinary and no better place to look for new world opportunities than the CSIRO!
They're world class and on fire at the moment!
Imo, the market would treat FMG kindly as small start ups ( such as these by FMG's standards) would indicate intention to diversify and being associated with CSIRO not a negative.
