Fair point and I realise the instititional investors are what mainly moves the markets.
For me though it is irrelevant. I think fundamentals play out over time.
I take umbridge at he fact that (retail suckers lose out every time)which is what is often thrown around by some on here.
You only lose if you sell. Or if the company becomes insolvent. ( leveraged positions a different story)
When FMG was having its most recent tough period SP circa $ 1.50-$2.00 I had paper losses, the point is they are paper. In the Same way the substantial gains I have now are paper.
So yeah not everyone punts on the share price or panics on paper losses.
