Since this post on 4th March, not much has changed in terms of price action and market sentiment with SP remaining range bound between 6 and 7 for another month.
The March candle did in fact close below 6.285 and therefore the evening star is formed. Stochastic is still at 88 and needs to move below 80 to relieve the overbought condition.
This doesn't mean price will instantly fall from here, it means the high of 7.27 is a very solid level of resistance. Also the SP never closed above the high of the December shooting star of 6.96 in any of the 3 monthly candles that followed.
In my opinion the SP needs to relieve itself by retracing to somewhere near the moving averages to look for momentum.
