All stocks tend to go south leading up to June 30 then they start to rise again in July.
Also depends on what the iron ore price is doing. If its zooming up and not like it is now where its mainly at $120US/T I would expect it to drop back leading up to June 30.
It will also drop back the size of the dividends on payout day then rise again.
I watch it go up and down. To get the franking credits you need to hold the stock at least 45 days.
Problem with selling for tax is the longer you keep it the less tax you pay when you finally sell years later so why bother is my view.
I don't pay any tax due to franking credits anyway.
I get a bonus cheque each year from franking credits as does everyone else that has many FMG shares.
