I was told today that a broker's analyst who specialises in Fortescue, and regularly visits brokers in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, has received a very enthusiastic reception on most recent visit. Previously some brokers were still a bit ho-hum but not anymore. They can't get enough info. The analyst said that there has been a notable strong change in broker sentiment.
Myself and other long-time believers are rolling our eyes, doh! but it is still good news.
The future looks very bright for several reasons apart from the same old ones that we all know;
1. The bid for Sundance confirms that the Chinese are not expecting lower iron ore prices.
2. The company now has its long term finance well and truly sorted.
