If you want to use real estate as an example.
the buy back is like if you owned a piece of realestate with 20 other people. And you decided to start using the rental income to buy back those other peoples shares in the real estate.
so eventually even though the money didn’t go directly to
you have increased your ownership in the real estate because you have been getting rid of the other investorsby buying back their shares.
this is what’s happening at fmg at the moment, we are paying $500 M to get other investors to leave and we are taking their share of the assets
