FMG won't have a PCR lab on the mine so will be using real-time PCR kits. Data from 1000 Covid-19 patients found RT-PCR was only 59% sensitive in detecting clinically-suspected coronavirus, and about 70% compared to Chest CT. This is similar to previously achieved rates for viruses such as rabies.
