Franking credits is a tax adjustment, not money that Fortescue has in an account somewhere. If your next tax assessment requires you to pay tax then the franking credit is considered to be tax already paid. If your assessed tax is payment is less than your franking credit or if you are assessed a rebated then you will get the franking credit back.
