Sir, as a shareholder you need to keep eyes open because if "plenty of people and instos still want a slice of the pie" as you stated then share price won't have tumbled 94c since dividend announced to take off 89c dividend plus some franking credit out of the hands of the holders. It is good to love the company you invest but stay vigilant all time and stay in touch with current trend and market sentiment.. IMO.
My comment doesn't say/mean that FMG is wrong company to invest but my opinion simply saying FFI is eating your dividend and if shareholders don't get momentum to stop it now then it will be too late as more and more of your dividend will be taken out year on year ... IMO.
