Assuming a cost of production of around 42USD per tonne. Water content of 7 to 8%. Average exchange rate of around .73 US cents. 93.5 million tonnes sold.
I think the 1st qtr averaged 118US cents. 2nd qtr was 74US cents.
I came to a net profit of around 6 billion aud.
Take away the tax component and then assuming a payout of 80%.
I came to a result of around 1.09aud half dividend per share.
3rd qtr is shaping up to be more like above 100USD per tonne.
Overall I am still happy.
