Twiggy must know more than all of us about iron ore.. I was just watching an interview with David Flanagan of atlas iron on "the business" on the 8/7/15 available on the abc iview app. Turns out twiggy bought into the atlas capital raising personally. If fmg was in so much trouble and so is atlas, why wouldn't twiggy keep his cash for the rainy day you are all talking about. I don't think the iron ore price is in as bad a shape as everyone is speculating. Even the treasurer assumed the iron ore price would average around $44 a tonne for the year.
It'll be a whole lot tougher when gina brings her tonnes on line, and when the big boys open the gates, but sounds like speculation is driving price more than fact. Am interested to see reporting season when the facts and dividends come out..
