I don't disagree with Musk. Of course what he didn't say (his inconvenient truth, other than the time it will take for batteries to break down after use) is that batteries - whilst great for passenger vehicles - are not going to cut it for trucks, buses, trains, ships, network base load power requirements etc etc etc.
it's not an either/or scenario - both will be needed to turn the wheel from high carbon emissions to a green economy.
also, not a whole lot of companies acknowledge exactly how much carbon they emit, and a plan to neutralise that within a reasonable time. Bit of tall poppy syndrome going on here I think TB.
