for shi1s and giggles i'll entertain your crap
Reasons why what you post is irrelevant:
- the link YOU posted also had Wind Electrolysis coming in around 0.5T/T
- 95% of the CO2 generated by hydrogen production via wind farms is caused by the construction of wind farms.
- Electricity is still needed to power a Telsa ( but its actually less efficient because H2 will be produced in optimal locations, not where electricity grids are, but we'll just call it even)
- Battery powered cars are ~2.5x more energy efficient then Fuel Cell cards,
- So if 1T of H2 caused 0.5T of C02, a battery car would would cause 0.2T in electricity consumption alone for the same distance. 0.3T less.
- Lithium batteries take somewhere around 100kg/kwh, or 7.5T for a Tesla model 3 battery,
- That means a fuel cell car will need to use ~11.5T of H2 before it catches up to the C02 output of a lithium Telsa Model 3.
- (11.5T of H2 for electricity VS 7.5 T for Battery production +4.6T for Electricity usage)
- How far can you go on 11,500kg of H2???About 2 MILLION KILOMETERS BEFORE A TESLA IS BETTER THAN A HYDROGEN CAR!
- Future wind turbines are looking at 6g/kwh (55kwh/kg for H2. 330g of C022 /kg of H2
- Once production of green steel & concrete is ready ~20 years, those wind turbines are going to cause very little C02, negating most of the above anyway!!! Basically CO2 Free electricity from Wind & hydropower!!!!!
- So basically.... Hydrogen will be better in the long run. Sorry Elon, mining lithium is not the solution to solving the world.
- More so, the Target maket for H2 is not cars, they only make up about 9% of the market..... so stress less about your little Tesla/Lithium investments, they're safe for now.
