Electric cars go well in smaller countries but are not getting good sales in countries like the US and Aust where the distances are very vast between locations where European countries are often far smaller and can have re charge stations to cover a smaller area but not the size of Aust or USA for that matter.
Adding a hydrogen fuel pump to a petrol station is easy but a re charge station that takes 30 mins for future electric cars and there will be a long que waiting for a re charge.
Smaller countries like Norway and the UK electric cars are selling well but not here.
I'll be driving a petrol car for many years to come.
Electric cars are way to expensive with an average price tag of $50,000 where a petrol car average price is half that
and I some how doubt in a cars life anyone would spend $25,000 of fuel.
Electric cars need battery replacement every 5 years as they do not fully recharge.
Get caught in a car accident and a lithium car fire can't be put out as fire chiefs are seeing across the globe
where the car gets so hot it starts to melt.
Electric cars are only good for a city location where the owner can drive it home for a re charge and end up with a nice large power bill
and considering most power in this country comes from gas or coal then more CO2 goes up into the atmosphere.
Aussies like to drive out of cities and this is where petrol still has the edge over other cars.
Over time governments to get to net zero by 2050 will be forced to go green and I just see many going green hydrogen so they can refuel at petrol stations that have added green hydrogen to their systems.
I have shares in GXY and PLS which are lithium stocks. I see battery walls getting cheaper over time for houses that have solar so go lithium.
