FMG have a huge need for energy going forward and, like BHP have indicated, recognise the huge potential of the Canning.

No doubt the supermajors will not be far behind as this announcement does not preclude the third force in iron ore and the third force in the Canning from taking on another partner.

There is a ginger group in OBL and on this thread that will have to rethink their stance in a major, major way - unless they are really working for other parties.
