Conflicting statements today by separate Fed board members. One said interest rates in USA will rise again this yr and other (Evans) said they won't. Either way the AUD remains strong and is above 76c compared with 73.5c just a few weeks ago when IOP ws also higher. High currency hurts our exporters every bit as much as low commodity prices. RBA must be praying AUD will weaken as they cannot risk another cut in interest rates.
