I originally bought TAS in 2013 when the had a JV with RIO for exactly the same reasons FMG are now drilling. RIO eventually gave up, but ended up making a decent profit in 2015 for all the wrong reasons when Eden energy discovered nano-carbon is good for concrete again for all the wrong reasons.
So now FMG is back, but their approach of drilling shallowly dipping wedged holes across the gravity anomalies I think is very good.
All you need to do is find the REDOX boundary between the oxide and the sulfide and you have an orebody. Its somewhere out towards the edge of the anomalies but you need to drill right across the anomaly at a shallow angle to find it.
Having some already existing deep holes courtesy of RIO that can be re-used to wedge off is a great bonus, and saves a lot of money.
So I just bought a fair chunk of shares and wait the outcome of FMG drilling.
