When WMC was drilling the Olympic Dam propsect in 1970s it took quite a few failed drill holes before they found it, if it was not for the persistence and patience of the WMC's chairman/managing director Arvi Parbo it may have not been discovered. It is now the fourth largest copper deposit and the largest known single deposit of uranium in the world. TAS's drilling prospect is only 30 kilometers from the Olympic Dam mine.
