Well hello Big E and happy New Year to you, Rurenga and the other great posters on FMG.
I have not posted since earlier this year when some twit was bagging Rurenga for giving us the daily I.O. Price.
My son and I began investing in FMG the year before last when the Atlas Iron saga was playing out. What a god send.
He is Down Syndrome and we were looking at alternatives for investments outside the crappy returns to having
money tied up in term deposits.
We did invest quite heavily in a company called Innate Immunology ( ASX. IIL ). Long story that ended badly.
We are not wealthy people and the loss hurt.
We dusted ourselves off and began accumulating FMG. Did not quite pick the bottom but we did get some in the $3.70’s and his average is $4.18.
Sold a few at $8.75 which now looks like a mistake but we do like the saying “ no one went broke taking a profit”.
We also like the dividends .
Any way I am getting a bit long winded here and just wanted to wish all posters the best for 2020.
Spare a thought and a few bucks for all those unlucky enough to be caught up in the terrible bush fires.
