We are catching up with a few neighbours tonight to eat what has survived out of our freezers. We have a few Rib Eyes and someone else has a whole Eye fillet, that we will generously help him to eat so that the poor dog doesn't get indigestion.

We opened and shared my last bottle of red with one of our firey neighbours last night. I managed to drink (or share) all of those, "save it for a rainy day" bottles. At least I'll be able to dust the wine rack now that it's empty.

Tried to restock today at Coles Liquor in Batemans Bay, but they have been very popular since reopening, so slim pickings.

We don't have a lot of concern now for the long hot summer, we've got nothing much left to burn.
