I had a beautiful red flowered creeper that had taken about 5 years to look absolutely magnificent- then we had day after day of over 40 dgs and it was burnt, no sign of life and I had to cut it down. Was really upset, thats just one plant- not important in the overall scheme of things so can't even begin to imagine what those who have lost their homes and businesses are going through.
