Might be worth asking the question as we had to use our insurance twice, once with the fire that I mentioned above that impacted our property. The second time was with Black Saturday where one of the fires was within 8k's of us, we lost income and were able to claim it out to 6 months as we could show a loss attributed to the fire which was triggered by roads being closed and material loss within 20k's of us. Hopefully this info helps.
