No, never. The guys I stayed with were both great cooks - nothing was ever simple with them.
I'd get home and immediately reach for my vegetable steamer as much as I enjoyed their food.

They had me racing around with them one Saturday morning buying hay - they were doing lamb in hay and
cooked in some special clay thingy with a lid on it.

I think they knew every specialty shop in Perth and it was never a simple supermarket shop. I even helped out in
their showroom one Saturday. I had special instructions - do not speak to our clients LOL just clean a bit. LOL

I was never a free loader and they knew I was paid T/A so we always went somewhere where I got to shout or failing
that I would have a case of the finest delivered.

I loved going to Perth or stopping in there on the way further north. Always had a ball.
