By the way I did once know a boss nicknamed The Silver Fox - the warning would go out and it was heads down when he
left his office. His hair was silver and he wore it longer than most.
I later got to know him well enough to give him a stir when his wife knitted a bright yellow vest. And he wore the thing! LOL
Did he want to be known by his nick name (which of course he knew) or as the canary? He doubled up with laughter when I posed
that question but he kept wearing it. He was lucky not to get me singing Rockin' Robin.
