First it was the banks shorted to hell, then retail, now mining. And in the first 2 cases the shorters were dead wrong. Didn't stop them making a killing and killing the share prices at the same time.

When sentiment is a big concern its not hard to spook people selling down stock you don't own, and its always a bigger percentage climb to get back to square as well.
