Hi Nolan I wouldn't personally buy the day before the dividend report. I think I did my last FMG buy on the 7/8 and the reporting date is 24/8.
Not an expert but sometimes close to reporting dates share prices can run up and beyond the actual dividend. I guess it might depend on whether you plan to hold or flip. Here we're more long term holders.
