I don't think it will happen but then again Kerry Stokes owned 53% of Iron Ore Holdings and accepted cash & shares in BC Iron to emerge with 19.9% & 2 board seats, so I wouldn't rule it out. If Glencore came up with a deal that managed to take AF out for a substantial shareholding in Glencore thus broadening AF's spread of commodities rather than 100% Fe and still have board input to Glencore I reckon it would fly.
