What happened to "I will sit this one out and come back here when this inevitable crash happens"? You didn't even last one day!

Our miners seem to have been less affected than other companies by the Middle East conflict. The technical correction in NY has not been reflected in my resources-heavy portfolio. Iron ore keeps chugging away, melted down with heat from coal, it's not in the front line when it comes to nastiness from oil producers with a figurative dog in the literal fight. Not that it's immune, nothing is until we make meaningful moves away from oil dependency. But until there's an actual market-wide crash (which could come in months or maybe it won't come for years) there are a lot of other factors to take into account.
