I do agree that the FMG SP is not where it’s worth ! However, there are geopolitical and economic reasons, natural disasters, health pandemics that could make an otherwise repetitive pattern of SP very unpredictable with untimely volatility ! Although IOP has a cyclical pattern that it generally follows it’s not a guarantee hence you yourself have not been able to predict in the recent past ! However, though the SP is so volatile, I am of the believe that over a longer period, the SP would be on the up for the reason being the demand for IO wound always be up due to population growth - and I doubt that anything can disrupt that ! I think, with a few reservation, FMG’s future is very bright and if someone wants to make some meaningful wealth, just ignore the noise on this forum and stick to a long term investment plan that would result in dividend payments that would get better and better over time !
